With over 27 years of clinical experience, Dr. Tessa Stuimer, PT, DPT is a seasoned and passionate Doctor of Physical Therapy dedicated to helping patients restore movement, reduce pain, and regain their independence. Dr. Stuimer began her professional journey at The Ohio State University, where she earned her degree in Physical Therapy. She later advanced her credentials by earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The College of St. Scholastica. She is currently licensed in 11 states, making her expertise accessible to patients across a wide geographical range, including through virtual consultation and mobility coaching. Nathan Shih

DPT
Nathan Shih received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University, as well as a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from National Taiwan University. He organized and lectured at the health promotion program of Taipei City government for community-dwelling elderly citizens, and is an accredited author with published research findings in the International Society of Electrocardiography and Kinesiology journal. Beyond the scope of research, Nathan also has various experiences in different clinical settings, including post-operational acute care for patients who underwent orthopedic surgeries, intensive care units and subacute care for patients with intramuscular disorders, acute care for patients with cardiopulmonary diseases, and outpatient departmental care for children with developmental delays. His specializations include biomechanical analysis, neurodynamic techniques, and myofascial release. His clinical philosophy is patient-centric, believing that treatment starts with the person, not the symptom.

Eve Seltzer

PTA
Eve Seltzer developed an interest in physical therapy during her eleven years teaching yoga. She graduated first in her class at Kingsborough Community College in 2010, and interned at Staten Island University Hospital and the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation. Over the past seven years, she worked in a variety of settings within New York and in her home town of St. Louis. Her rotations were conducted in noteworthy settings such as Bellevue Hospital, Sports Medicine and Training Center of St. Louis, and St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Hospital. She specialized in TBI therapy during her rotations at Bellevue Hospital and became a level 4 certified NDT at St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Hospital. Eve currently utilizes various techniques in manual therapy to treat patients at our clinic. She is passionate about giving high quality patient care, and is proud to be a part of the Gramercy Physical Therapy team.

Harold is a highly skilled and compassionate physical therapist in NYC, known for his expertise in manual therapy and personalized patient care. His journey into physical therapy began with a lifelong passion for sports and movement. As a former athlete and boxer, Harold understands the challenges of injury recovery and the importance of getting back to peak performance. He earned his physical therapy degree in the Philippines, where he gained valuable experience working in outpatient rehabilitation clinics. After relocating to New York, Harold continued to build on his clinical skills, specializing in hands-on techniques to relieve pain, restore mobility, and support long-term recovery. Harold’s calm presence, deep understanding of the musculoskeletal system, and dedication to each patient’s healing make him a trusted and respected member of the Gramercy PT team. With over three decades of experience in orthotics, prosthetics, and medical rehabilitation, David Rabe is a nationally recognized leader in custom bracing and patient-centered mobility solutions. He has founded and led multiple orthotic and prosthetic practices across New York and New Jersey, served as Vice President of Rehabilitation Services at a major health system, and held executive leadership roles in both clinical and product development settings. David has been directly involved in every aspect of care—from clinical fittings and fabrication to managing multi-site operations and launching additive manufacturing labs. He has secured multiple U.S. utility and design patents for orthopedic devices and brings deep expertise in myoelectric prosthetics, spinal systems, and complex rehabilitation pathways. He holds a Bachelor of Science from New York University, completed post-graduate training in Orthotics and Prosthetics, and completed a clinical fellowship at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center. David is also a former member of the New Jersey State Licensing Board of Examiners and an active member of AAOP and AOPA.
