This was, by far, the best experience I have ever had. The therapists are all caring and highly trained professional . I would recommend this provider to anyone seeking comprehensive physical therapy.

Hi B. Gray, thank you so much for the high praise! We take a lot of pride in our team’s training and making sure every patient feels truly cared for, so your recommendation is the best compliment we could get. Thanks for trusting us with your recovery! 😊🙌Posted on Google Aderly KorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommended. Really thorough therapists who take their time with you and provide multiple forms of therapy (soft tissue and exercise). After struggling with back pain and getting nowhere with two other clinics, they were the first to actually figure out what was going on and fix it. Super knowledgeable, attentive, and focused on long-term results—not just quick relief. I’m pain-free and moving normally again.
Owner's reply
Aderly, this is so awesome to hear! It means a lot that you trusted us after having a rough time elsewhere. We really believe in taking that extra time to combine the hands-on work with the right exercises to get to the root of the problem, so we're thrilled you're moving normally again. Thanks for the kind words! 😊✨Posted on Google andrea greenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was exceptionally pleased with the physical therapy. I recently had an evaluation at Gramercy PT and was disappointed with my experience. During my appointment, the provider was rushed and was simultaneously treating another patient. As a result, I didn't feel that my assessment was thorough. I was seeking care for a running-related ankle issue, yet my gait and walking mechanics were not evaluated. I don't recommend using them for running related issues, because they don't have a treadmill. Additionally, I was misquoted regarding the cost of treatment. At the conclusion of my appointment, I was informed that the session cost was $50 more than what I had been quoted. This discrepancy was unexpected and frustrating. Overall, I didn't feel that the level of care or communication met appropriate professional standards. Update 3/16/2026: Gramercy PT contacted me and remediated the issue. I appreciate their professionalism and desire to make this right.
Owner's reply
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. At Gramercy Physical Therapy, we strive to provide attentive, high-quality care, and we regret that you left feeling otherwise. Regarding your concern about feeling rushed, our model is designed to provide individualized attention, scheduling no more than two patients per hour so that each patient receives dedicated 30 minute one-on-one time with the therapist. While brief overlaps can occasionally occur, it is never our intention for a patient to feel that their evaluation was incomplete. With respect to running-related injuries and gait analysis, we routinely treat runners and assess biomechanics, stability and alignment. While we do not rely on treadmill analysis, especially while injured, gait and movement patterns are evaluated based on the therapist’s clinical judgment and the stage of injury. That said, we understand that you expected a specific type of assessment and we regret that this was not clearly communicated during your visit. Regarding the cost miscommunication, our team always verifies and explains benefits prior to your initial visit, but if there was any miscommunication, that is something we take seriously and would like to know right away to make it right. We value professionalism and transparency and we would appreciate the opportunity to review your concerns personally and see how we can make this right. Please contact our office directly or provide a good time for us to call.Posted on Google Nicole De SantisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My father, who is in his 80's, has been going to Gramercy PT for over a year now and I can't say enough how helpful they have been to him. I also appreciate how patient and kind the staff here is.
Owner's reply
Thank you so much for the kind words, Nicole! It has been an absolute pleasure working with your father over the past year. We truly value the trust you both place in us, and our team always looks forward to his visits. We’re so glad to hear that our patient and dedicated approach has made a positive difference for him!Posted on Google Yang ShenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been having chronical pains for years and had sought all sorts of treatment both in Hong Kong and NYC (physical therapy, acupuncture, deep tissue massage, chiro therapy) very regularly with limited results. I knew many different approaches adopted by different physical therapists (trained in Australia, US or UK) because I had to try so many. I’ve been able to stop trying new therapists after I came to this place. Tessa’s approach is very practicable for people with busy schedules and yet effective. I am so pleased to feel the results that I introduced this place to my husband and our uncle as well. For what it is worth, the first session may feel really slow (I was a bit unsure after first session if it was going to be helpful), so people who are seriously seeking PT may want to try 2 or 3 sessions to determine if it’s effective for them.
Owner's reply
We truly appreciate the recommendation, Yang! It’s great to hear that after trying so many different methods, Tessa’s expertise provided the breakthrough you needed. We aim to make our treatments as effective and manageable as possible for our patients' lifestyles. Thank you for the shout-out regarding the first few sessions—we agree that building a foundation is key to long-term relief. We look forward to seeing you and your family again soon!Posted on Google Tony CarnesiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I needed serious PT after a wrist surgery. I will be playing guitar harder than ever soon! Gene runs a tight ship and Anna knows her way around my right arm very well. I am in good hands here at Gramercy Physical Therapy! I recommend them highly!
Owner's reply
That’s music to our ears, Tony! 🎸 We’re so glad Anna could help you get back on track after your surgery. We can't wait to hear about you shredding on the guitar again soon! Thanks for the shout-out to Gene and the rest of the team. 🤘Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. The “One-on-One” Standard for Kips Bay
For patients in the 10016 zip code, we provide a standard of care that larger institutional facilities often lack:
Exclusively Doctor-Led: Every session is conducted by a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. We do not use aides or assistants, ensuring you receive expert clinical guidance every minute of your visit.
Private Treatment Rooms: We value the privacy and comfort of our Kips Bay patients. We provide fully private rooms for every session—no shared gym floors or curtained areas.
Clinical Depth & Manual Focus: We dedicate 45 to 60 minutes to every appointment. This allows us to prioritize hands-on manual therapy techniques that restore joint and tissue health more effectively than exercise alone.
Comprehensive Care for the Kips Bay Community
From residents working in the nearby medical centers to those commuting to Midtown, we treat a wide range of conditions tailored to your lifestyle:
Post-Surgical Rehabilitation: We provide expert recovery for joint replacements, ACL repairs, and spinal surgeries, frequently working with patients coming from NYU Langone, Bellevue, and HSS.
Manual Physical Therapy: Skilled, hands-on joint mobilization and soft tissue work to reduce pain and restore fluid movement.
Sports Medicine & Performance: Advanced therapy for athletes and weekend warriors, including gait analysis and injury prevention for East River runners.
Desk-Related Pain & Ergonomics: Targeted treatment for “tech neck,” sciatica, and chronic back pain caused by long hours in the office or home workspace.
Custom Foot Orthotics: Precision 3D-molded inserts to improve alignment and reduce strain on your feet, knees, and hips.
